After a massive update last week, the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro has just received another major update with new features and optimizations. The latest firmware version 4.7.3.1 is now available for the smartwatch with a 15.89MB file size. This update mainly focuses on fixing navigation accuracy issues that users have been reporting for weeks. The update is being released globally today, and users can install it from the Zepp app.
Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro Navigation Issue Fixed
The major enhancement in the new version is navigation accuracy. Users had complained about incorrect navigation data before and also raised questions about its comparison with the Garmin Fenix 8 series. Now, with the 4.7.3.1 software, the company has fixed missed turns and track point issues.
Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro Gets New Workout Features
With this update, Amazfit is focusing heavily on improving workout functionality and expanding compatibility with fitness equipment. The main highlight of the update is support for third-party rowing machines. Users can now connect compatible rowing machines and view important metrics like power output and distance directly on the watch.

Another notable feature is the introduction of segment-based equivalent pace data for Outdoor Run and Trail Run modes. This allows users to better analyze performance across different segments of their exercises, giving enhanced insights into pacing and endurance.
A new Navigation entry has also been added to the track page menu during workouts, making it easy to access route-related features. Along with this, the Battery Manager now shows usage duration statistics for the LED flashlight, so users can know how much battery it is consuming and take action accordingly.
Amazfit has also added a display toggle for watch face status indicators. Users can set it from Settings > Watch Face & Time > Status Indicators. Along with that, Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro users will notice improvements in the overall workout experience.
The workout mode page now includes a countdown prompt when pausing or ending an activity via long press. This will reduce accidental button presses, and users will not get incorrect or incomplete data. The AMRAP mode in HIIT, HYROX, Hybrid Training, and Cross Training now supports durations of up to 99 minutes, which is another enhancement by Amazfit for pro users.
Lastly, the update brings support for FTMS-compatible rowing machines, such as the Concept2 RowErg, along with an overall improved user experience. The new software version comes with major fixes, improvements, and optimizations, so users should download and install it.
