Amazfit is now releasing a new software update for the Cheetah 2 Pro smartwatch. It is the second update for the watch, and users can identify it by the firmware version 3.8.0.7. The update weighs 11.62 MB and won’t take much time to install. While the first software update introduced new features, the second one focuses on optimizing the current version. As mentioned in the release notes, it optimizes the voice broadcast service on the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro.

Further, the latest firmware improves the overall quality of the device by fixing known bugs. It also enhances system stability and smoothness for a better user experience. In the recent firmware, some users raised issues with GPS accuracy. The release notes do not mention any specific fix in the new software, though it will be better to test it during a real exercise.

Eligible for Zepp OS 6
In the first Cheetah 2 Pro update, Amazfit introduced lactate threshold metrics, hybrid workout mode, marathon training plans, and many other features. Now, with the second firmware, the company has optimized those features. To download the update, users should head to the Zepp app > General > System Updates and check for pending software updates. This month, Zepp will release the major Zepp OS 6 software update for eligible watches, and the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro is one of them.
